This baggage calculator has been created to provide an easier means for photographers to determine how best to pack their bags to comply with increasingly tight airline regulations.

You may either use the calculator on an ad-hoc basis, or by registering you can gain access to additional functionality including:

• The ability to save and recall multiple lists
• Functions to add your own ad-hoc items to the packing list (e.g. clothes), which may not exist within the default lists provided

Please rest assured that if you register, you will not receive any marketing emails from the site, and your email address will never be made available to any third parties.

Before using the calculator, you must agree to the following conditions:

• The calculator is provided for the convenience of photographers, and is a free service
• The website owner does not provide any warranty as to the accuracy or correctness of the information provided, and does not accept liability for the consequences of use or mis-use of this data. 
• It remains the responsibility of the user to ensure that both they and their baggage adhere to aviation and carrier regulations
• It is the responsibility of the user to independently check the weight of their luggage, and its compliance with current carrier allowances

Please note, the default lists of equipment and their weight is being regularly extended to encompass more manufacturers and products.
